3月21日、僕たちは早稲田駅からすぐ近くにあるライブハウス早稲田ZONE-BでCRUCIAL SECTION企画UNITED THRASH NIGHT VOL.66に参戦した。
4ヵ月間コンスタントに練習してきたが、結局、現場で表現をしなければ、感覚はどんどん鈍っていく事に気づかされたイクスカーション企画＠西荻窪から１週間...
今回は、比較的いい状態でライブに挑むことができた。この日は、幸運な事に出順も1番目だった為、リハで創り上げた「音」をそのままライブへ引き継げたのがよかったと個人的には思う。
以前、話した事があるが、ライブスペースが違えば、PAも異なるし、音の響き方が違うのも当然。けれど、イメージ通りに音創りが出来ない時は正直ストレスに感じる。それでも、リハ中はいつも「その場」で創れるベストの鳴り方をメンバーと常に試行錯誤しながら創っている。今回の企画ではイメージに近い「音」が創れてよかった。
肝心なライブは体力的にはキツかったが、とても思い出深いライブになった。そして、このイベントで印象的だったのは、あんなにウルさくて、暴力的な音が地下室で流れているにも関わらず、ピースフルな雰囲気が出演者やオーディエンスからすごく感じられた。そんな企画に僕たちを誘ってくださったCRUCIAL SECTIONの皆様、本当にありがとうございました。嬉しかったです。
On March 14th, we SEGWEI have finally started performing shows in Tokyo, Japan.
From last November 2008, we had discontinued to perform for a while, since we wanted to concentrate on creating more songs and bringing new variation to our showcase. Being in band isn't always about performing. In my point of view the main point is the balace of us four, performing and creating in our "own time", "own way" to keep the life size passion moving.
Anyways, although we have not performed for a while, we were able to express freely and the 20 minutes of the showcase was very condensed knowing never to come back.
We would like to express our deep gratitudes to the hardcore band Crucial Section for giving us the oppurtunity to perform at Waseda Tokyo Japan.
